When I was attending church seminary I got caught skipping class by my teacher. He suggested I could make it up by drawing a picture of Christ for him. I was happy to accept the offer. I was just at his house New Years Eve-it's framed by his bedroom door so its the first thing he sees when he leaves his room for the day. The picture of the picture is a little blurry because well, it was framed and the glass makes it glare. I drew this right before I turned 17.

Salt Lake City
Jeff's Mom and Dad got married in the Salt Lake City Temple. They used to have a picture of the temple before their house caught fired and ruined it. For Christmas, Jeff and I wanted to give them something special since they have been so sweet to us. Jeff suggested I draw a picture of them, and add the temple in the background. It was my first attempt at a building-they're tougher than I thought. I forgot to take a photo of the drawing before it was framed-which means trying to get an angle without a glare.

Pioneer Woman's Marlboro Man Sketch
For those of you who do not know who The Pioneer Woman is, please visit her site immediately. I drew this picture for her when I went to meet her at the Houston book signing. Marlboro Man is her beloved, and I wanted to give her something special since she gives so much to her readers. I knew she'd been travelling like crazy and was missing her Marlboro Man, so I picked a photo from her site that I thought she would like. It was so much fun to go to her book signing and meet her in person, she really is a doll.
