What kind of paper do you use?
I use medium weight, acid free archival super awesome paper. It won't fade, it's sturdy and it will last for years-so long as your dog doesn't chew it up or your child doesn't use it as a dinner plate.
How do I choose a picture?
Choose a picture that you love, I'll work with it (it does help if it's not taken in the dark without a flash). Most people choose snap shots instead of professional photos. Often times when drawing multiple people I've used the favorite photo of each person (there is never a "perfect" family photo), and then artistically put them in the same drawing. Sometimes I've used as many as 7 different photos to get everyone looking just right.
How do I get you the photo?
Email is fine. In fact, I prefer it. Then I don't have to worry about losing your only photo ;) You can also snail mail or just give them to me the next time we see each other.
How long will it take?
About six-eight months. More if there is more than one person. Just kidding. Usually a week or two, maybe three. If you're really pressed for time I can expedite the service and have it done in 5-7 days. That's an additional cost though.
How much "additional cost?"
Your first born child. Just kidding. It would be an additional $25 for expedited service.
Where did you get this talent!?
I inherited this wonderful skill from my Grandmother Dorothea. She is amazing! She shared her talent with most of my family as well. If you need pottery, jewelry, paintings, photoshop,framing, illustrations, photography, etc.... someone can do it!

For a single portrait it's $75, and for each additional individual in the portrait add $60, up to three people. After that please contact me and we'll discuss what you would like done.
Your choice of charcoal or pencil (graphite) on whatever color paper you want. With or without the painted white highlights.
If you are my family-it's free. It will just take me four years and 100 emails from you asking when it will get done before you see it. (Sorry!!!)
